Statement Regarding The South Pacific
Regarding the present situation in The South Pacific, The Pacific would like to express our belief that interference by us in favour of either the Coalition of The South Pacific or the Milograd-controlled Delegacy is not in the best interests of The South Pacific. We express our support for the residents to decide for themselves which system of governance is the appropriate one for them, and do not believe it appropriate to lend our weight to one side or another as The South Pacific resolves this internal conflict.

This conflict has found its way to our shores, regardless. A nation claiming to represent the Coalition government was spotted in The Pacific earlier today, asking our WAs to abandon our Delegate and depart for The South Pacific to oppose Milograd. This stunt is unacceptable. Even if The Pacific felt obligated or justified in deploying in support of one side or the other, we must always look to our own shores to protect our citizens, and ensure that this conflict does not spread. It is hoped that the Coalition government will investigate this serious issue, though it has thus far assured the Senate of The Pacific that no nation was ordered to take such action.

We are hopeful for a speedy and swift resolution to the situation in The South Pacific.

Signed,

Krulltopia, Leader of The Pacific

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - Hileville - 04-22-2013

While I understand this view on these events I'm not pleased by it. TSP has long been close with the Pacific and we were the first region who came to your aid a couple of months ago when Krull though he was going to be coup'd.

I am really set off by this statement and will not remain silent about it.

Furthermore the nation was not authorized by this government to post on your RMB. We have not and will not be posting on any regions RMB with requests. That is an insane measure that is not acceptable.

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - Drugged Monkeys - 04-22-2013

Any statement made on your RMB, as Hileville stayed, was not authorized by our government. With past relations between our regions, The Pacific should know better than to think that. Also, I agree with Hileville on the statement of not being very pleased. We have lent aid to The Pacific without question in the past when your government aske for our aid. I am troubled by this statement.

As am I, and I think we're startin' to see the true influence of SovCon. While it is nominally about sovereignty, all of its members seem to feel compelled to take this neutrality stance...

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - HEM - 04-22-2013

So the next time Krulltopia is being couped, we should remember to allow The Pacific to handle it amongst themselves.

Gotcha Smile

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - mcmasterdonia - 04-23-2013

And to think TSP was expected to punish a prominent member of our community and cabinet not that long ago, by the NPO. He wasn't even doing any practical damage to the Pacific, unlike what Milograd is doing to the South Pacific.

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - Hileville - 04-23-2013

Yeah. Again I'm not pleased.

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - Rebel-topia - 04-23-2013

I couldn't have did it any better than what already been said. As close as we have been with The Pacific, I am very displeased with the stance The Pacific has taken. It saddens me that The Pacific will stand back and watch while Milograd banjected hundreds of natives.

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - Belschaft - 04-23-2013

I have to echo my colleges expressions of disappointing, and have already communicated such to Krull in private. The fact that The Pacific, a region we have counted as a friend and ally for nearly a decade, has chosen to stand back whilst a concerted effort is made to destroy an entire GCR community and replace it with UCR colonists is shocking. I once more implore them to reconsider; perhaps when Milo goes from 50% foreign endorsements to 70% or more they will intervene. Perhaps when the number of native WA's he ejects moves to 200, rather than 100, they will intervene.

Regardless, it is TP's decision to make. Whatever course they pursue here, should the time come again when they need our aid once more they will not find me wanting; I chose to remember all the years of friendship.

Statement Regarding The South Pacific - God-Emperor - 04-24-2013

They chose to forget. Ya may not, Bel, but you'll have a hard time convincin' the region to go along with ya. We can't all be Carta.
