Reporting Content - Hileville - 03-20-2014 Why should I report a post or private message? There are times when content is posted that breaks the moderation policies. Â This isn't always seen by our moderators. Â Reading through every thread can be very time consuming and things just get overlooked. Â Reporting content you believes breaks the forum rules is the easiest way for our moderators to evaluate the post and take action if needed. Â Reporting this content will also allow for a more fair application of the moderation policies. Â Private messages can break forum moderation rules as well. Â Yes TSP has the NSA and all but our NSA doesn't read through your private conversations. Â You can report private conversations that break forum rules as well and we will evaluate the content and let you know the result. Â How do I report a post? On every post you will see REPORT. Â If you hit this button it will take you to a page that asks you to enter your report. Â This report should contain why you believe this post is in violation of the moderation policies. Â Once you have completed your report hit the SUBMIT REPORT button. Â Your report has now been sent to the moderation staff for review. Â What happens next? A forum moderator will review the report and make a decision on whether or not this post warrants any moderator action in accordance with the forum moderation policies. Â All warnings will be announced in the thread in which contained the original post. Â If you have any questions about this article please feel free to post. |
