Help the Pacific!
#51
The floor's yours, bisty.
#52
Okay, I got pissed, and I spouted off. Not at the mods, surprisingly, but at all the people who still insist on trying to whine and argue a different decision out of them.

http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopi...71435&start=220

The should be on page 12.

Interesting thing is, 2 posts down from mine, Evil Sith says something very interesting. Go read.
#53
That's exciting...hm.you are right of course, slacker. I cannot defend my actions except to say that rudeness has always annoyed me. *shrug*but then i have found ample time to plan and whine. Tongue
#54
We must warn all the other pacifics asap!!!
#55
if they are bright, they know by now. i had been looking into FS' support and i believe he did it to keep his dictatorship going. I looked at similar numbers of endorsements in each (about 107) I classified them into three groups active (those who had been onsite in the last 6 days), inactive (7 + days of non useage) and dead (21+ days non usage). The last group being a subset of the second group. In comparing the two sets of supporters (FS and P) i found that:FS had 63 inactive endorsements containing 22 dead nations.while P had 14 inactive nations and no dead ones.oh detti's plan was posted somehwere else.
#56
I think part of this is due to a large scale drop-off in participation in the game since the promotion of Jennifer Government early this summer. Lots and lots of delegates are disappearing too (PACIFIC is now rid of Shaddam IV and that region could be claimed by anyone now.) Other delegates could find their numbers dropping with the die-offs.Very good research Bistmath!Siwenna
#57
We're interested in seeing what is going on. All this talk of a lot of different factions going in different directions is rather disconcerting. If any of you out there are in on plans to retake the Pacific from FS and his flunkies, please send Mirabellis a PM. We want to help in any way we can.
#58
mir, first read all the threads you can on this problem. there are a few here as well as those on the nationstates forum under moderation. as vp, i would advise you to be careful. but that being said, Wink have a good time.
#59
The endorsements are now tied at 141 each between Corinthe and FS, he had 140, he is online now rallying support. Corinthe needs a bigger lead.

Going to check that link now.

If anyone endorsing Corinthe does not, nor ever has, resided in this region, please, remove your endorsement and depart the region.

Invasions are not illegal, Corinthe. However, you are exploiting a glitch in the game, and at this time, it has not been decided if this is a legal tactic. As such, we are simply asking for those who have not resided in the Pacific prior to this incident to please leave.

Should we later determine that this is indeed a legal invasion, the delegate position will be removed from Francos for a one day period and the ban list cleared.

The Evilly-Biased Power-Hungry Rationally-Illogical Conservatively-Liberal Rampaging Virginal Sex-Fiendish Homophobic-Bisexual National-Socialisticish DEAT-Happy Judge, Jury, and Executioning Moddom of Neutered Sputniks COrinthe, I am going to ask you directly to leave the region until after the update.

Seconds ago The Evilly-Biased Power-Hungry Rationally-Illogical Conservatively-Liberal Rampaging Virginal Sex-Fiendish Homophobic-Bisexual National-Socialisticish DEAT-Happy Judge, Jury, and Executioning Moddom of Neutered Sputniks Believe me, this can be done the easy way, or the hard way. One way or the other, Francos will be Delegate after the update. No nations will be deleted unless absolutely necessary.

1 minute ago The Holy Empire of Bluemind Man this is bull, he ejects anyone who disagrees with him. That's one corrupt mod if you ask me.

1 minute ago The Free Land of TigersPaw9 If she walks out, she loses the endorsements and Francos wins, and ejects everyone in a massive attack

1 minute ago The Allied States of The Savage Lands No, I only have 120 endorsements...

1 minute ago The Confederacy of Myrdinn Talkos, I don't agree. I say let things play out. There are a lot of nations RETURNING from their exile who want Francos out of power so that this region can be restored to what it once was.

Seconds ago The Republic of 1825 how are we supposed to return to our home....how can we compete (or has no one seen the 70 bans in 5 seconds that francos is known and loved for)

Seconds ago The Confederacy of Bataslavia I will only leave if you make me the delegate of my old region again.

Seconds ago The Allied States of The Savage Lands Why does he deserve to be the delegate after the update Sputniks? Why do you protect him?

Seconds ago The Evilly-Biased Power-Hungry Rationally-Illogical Conservatively-Liberal Rampaging Virginal Sex-Fiendish Homophobic-Bisexual National-Socialisticish DEAT-Happy Judge, Jury, and Executioning Moddom of Neutered Sputniks The issue is not where the endorsee comes from, but where the endorsers come from.

Seconds ago The Confederacy of Bataslavia We will leave if you eject and temporarily ban Fracos Spain.

Seconds ago The Free Land of TigersPaw9 He got to you didn't he Sputniks?

Seconds ago The Free Land of Unfree People neut, are you saying that there's no way around Francos being delegate after the update? just listen to what you're saying, everyone here has turned out in support of the cause against him, what affects one region affects them all

Max and [violet] have both spoken on the subject, and so long as an invasion does not do the following things, they are considered a legal form of play:

-Ejecting a large number of natives (judged on a case-by-case scenario- 40% is a good meterstick for measuring it though)

-Spam/flood the regional message board and regional happening

-Take over by use of UN Multies

-Interfere with the natives' ability to come and go from the region as they please. (This includes kicking people out and leaving them on the ban list, passwording the region without giving the password to the natives, and the like.)

It's unlikely that the Powers That Be will change their minds on this.

Seconds ago The Dominion of Talkos That's what I'm saying Myr. I'm just saying she shouldn't argue with the mods...leave "after" the update, then francos won't be in power and Corinthe won't be deleted and we can push Savage over the top with endorsements in the following day of no delegate

Seconds ago The Allied States of Roysten Vasey I notice Francos is very quiet on the forum.

Seconds ago The Evilly-Biased Power-Hungry Rationally-Illogical Conservatively-Liberal Rampaging Virginal Sex-Fiendish Homophobic-Bisexual National-Socialisticish DEAT-Happy Judge, Jury, and Executioning Moddom of Neutered Sputniks Bataslavia, leave now and upon returning to your region, any nation that was endorsing you before and has not removed their endorsement will still be endorsing you. That's all I can do for you.

1 minute ago The Holy Republic of Heathvillia grrr I gave up thirty endorsements in my homeland to support the end of tyranny only to be forcibly removed by the mods, I do not agree with this mettling but I will do what I am told since it is not worth the life of my nation

1 minute ago The Allied States of The Savage Lands I think that posts speaks for itself. This invasion is 100% legal...

Seconds ago The Protectorate of Devoid Which region should my nation be in?

It's up to you.

Can I invade other people's regions?

Yes. The practice of "region crashing," where a group of nations all move to a region with the aim of seizing the UN Delegate position, is part of the game.

Once I've taken over a region, can I eject everyone else?

No. Region crashing by itself is a legitimate tactic to seize power, but ejecting large numbers of nations is griefing.

Glitch or no glitch. Rules are rules.

Seconds ago The Fiefdom of The Belmore Family "The issue is not where the endorsee comes from, but where the endorsers come from."

But surely it is where the views lie and surely Corinthe is entitled to a fair fight against FS?

Seconds ago The Evilly-Biased Power-Hungry Rationally-Illogical Conservatively-Liberal Rampaging Virginal Sex-Fiendish Homophobic-Bisexual National-Socialisticish DEAT-Happy Judge, Jury, and Executioning Moddom of Neutered Sputniks The argument that Francos' removal is the will of the people denies that many of Corinthe's endorsements come from outside the Pacific.

1 minute ago The Free Land of Unfree People as long as we're pulling quotes from the forums, several mods have said they wouldn't interfere. (of course, that thread has now been deleted. maybe this is why... Sad ... )

1 minute ago The Republic of 1825

Believe me, this can be done the easy way, or the hard way. One way or the other, Francos will be Delegate after the update. No nations will be deleted unless absolutely necessary.................

--wow thats fair--hes banned over 800 nations to gain power he controls the pacific (a 4500 nation ) with under 150 votes when they used to use more than 400 to gain power this is sad so sad

Seconds ago The Allied States of The Savage Lands Tell me about it, I want it to be explained why this invasion isnt fair?

Seconds ago The Evilly-Biased Power-Hungry Rationally-Illogical Conservatively-Liberal Rampaging Virginal Sex-Fiendish Homophobic-Bisexual National-Socialisticish DEAT-Happy Judge, Jury, and Executioning Moddom of Neutered Sputniks Has anyone ever given Francos a fair chance? Or has he had to fight against reincarnations of the same players since he gained his position?

He still has 140+ endorsements coming from this region - not those attempting to invade.

Seconds ago The Rogue Nation of 1337HAXORS Are you saying that none of Francos Spain's endorsements come from outside the Pacific?

Seconds ago The United States of El Dorrado Neut, I can not find one rule that they are breaking. Am I missing something?

Seconds ago The Oppressed Peoples of Stradt I doubt more than 10% is from an external source. I've sat here and watched the whole thing. Yes, some came from outside. Some came outside in support of FS, too. To say that there is no merit for this because too many people are supporting Corinthe is surprisingly short-sighted.

1 minute ago The Oppressed Peoples of Stradt I and the UN nation I control are staying.

1 minute ago The Holy Empire of Bluemind "Yes. The practice of "region crashing," where a group of nations all move to a region with the aim of seizing the UN Delegate position, is part of the game."

What about this Neut? huh? huh?

Why are you not goign by the rules. The rules state that it is OKAY FOR ENDORSEES TO COME FROM OTHER REGIONS.

1 minute ago The Free Land of TigersPaw9 as long as we're pulling quotes from the forums, several mods have said they wouldn't interfere. (of course, that thread has now been deleted. maybe this is why... Sad ... )

I have it saved in an offsite forum

good thing too it seems, the mods said they would not interfere, this is interferring.

Seconds ago The Allied States of Roysten Vasey Was the removal of the ban list for this region, that allowed my nation to return to the Pacific, a "glitch" as well?

Seconds ago The Holy Empire of Desert Rose this is not right, there is more support from nations that used to live here for the removal of Francos Spain than there is for keeping him in as the Delegate, and now we are being order, by a Mod that is supposed to be netural in these matters to leave the region.

I is not right

Seconds ago The Oppressed Peoples of Stradt Look. This is the Pacific's BEST and possibly ONLY chance to rid ourselves of FS. You can't deny us that, not after clearly stating that any changes made after the coming update are going to be allowed.

Seconds ago The Republic of 1825 neut says we have to leave and threatens us until francos bans us its the same evil cycle.........

I AM A NATIVE OF THE PACIFIC

why dont you ask francos why he has banned so many people neut or do you just sit back until he is in trouble

Seconds ago The Queendom of Corinthe Well, I've been told to leave too. Maybe this the way to go. For me there is only one way to go, after this has been settled.

Seconds ago The Allied States of The Savage Lands Yeah, then I know what will happen you all will determine that somehow we are cheating or are otherwise not being fair and Francos will once again be saved by the Mods...

Seconds ago The Free Land of TigersPaw9 You best check Francos list too and see who wasn't here before, fair is fair.

In light of this, what are the DSP's orders?
#64
There are no orders as such from DSP, but bistmath has issued the retreat order

It'll have to do. I judge it in the South Pacific's and the Pacific's best interests if I withdraw, I will continue to monitor the boards for any further orders.
#66
LadyRebels has also issued a retreat.

Ah, good. I'm not sure the vp is in my chain of command.
#68
Your chain of command is incredibly screwed if you ignore orders from a senior officer in a scenario like that. Time to start using your heads instead of relying on orders that never come. People get killed that way.
#69
As the game turns...Admin made this out to be a ruse, I guess to level the glitch field. We need everyone we can to get back there ASAP. Forget the chain of command just go. We have roughly 30 min. FLY!

I'm so confused! I went to the Pacific to help Corinthe get the delegacy but then RL called. When i returned to NS, I was in RR and apparently FS had the delegacy again. I just read the post of CandleLife, and if anything I'm more confused than ever. Could someone please explain to me (very slowly and clearly - I used to be blonde) so that I get it?Oh, and I lost all my endorsements too. If you had endorsed me could you please redo it?? I'm trying to remember who I endorsed to fix it all up. Thanks everyone!
