HAHAHA sorry, I tried to reply on my phone earlier and I guess I did that.
Â
The point I was making is currently there is a place where citizens can discuss assembly matters, and a place where citizens and residents can discuss assembly matters. Â It's two forums for a very similar purpose, which makes for fragmented discussions and more difficult to track the conversation.
Â
I just want residents to be able to post in this place, and then we can get rid of the other area of the forum.
Â
Did that clear it up?

Trying to remember why we changed that in the first place and the only thing I could come up with was that the Charter specifically had language in it which stated only Citizens can post in the Assembly area.
Â
I believe that language has been removed but am not positive. Â If it was the only issue I can see with that is outside orgs lobbying in the Assembly.

For the record, under my delegacy, and if the chair of the assembly agrees, I would like the private assembly halls to be used only for discussing foreign relations and national security issues. Â Any other topic should be in the public assembly forum.

To the best of my knowledge that's all we've ever used it for.
