Delegate Election Amendment

Ok I am just going to say things as I see them at this point in time.I understand or think that I understand both sides of the debate that is forming here. The old way has the BLT which for all intents and purposes is a way to challenge for the Delegate Seat of TSP and it can be viewed that anyone that wants to step up can just be open about it with us here on the Forums and it is all good. But honestly how many people even want to give that a go? But just because someone puts up a statement of intent and then just does the endo tarting then in all honesty where dose that really truly leave us? I mean they can make a crapy statement, we don't really want to see that person take the seat, but yet they are allowed to do so because they made a statement? is that how it works now?The new way would be Elections of Delegacy, which in many ways will open things up for everyone that is here on the forums, it will take way the stagnant or the potential to become stagnant from the Delegate. But will we run into the problem of getting someone that gives us the pat answers that we want to hear to quickly get to the Seat of Delegate then let their true colors show? Much as what happened to us with TFB.I really truly love the idea of Elections, in this day of NS, I again ask the question where is the fear coming from? is it truly something that, to me, screams fear of change?We need to do something or we are going to be right back where we were at before, inactive to the point that we wake up one day to a new Delegate over TSP and our hands tied once more with fighting a new threat......and there are those out there that would be a lot worse than what you saw from Devon.
