The South Pacific Lottery Commission today announced changes to the lottery system. The Commission which could be paying out the biggest jackpot in lottery history later today stated that there was a fundamental flaw in how the lottery was setup.

"We haven't had a winner since March which is just crazy" said lottery commission president Meaningful Cough. "There were too many possible combinations which just made it hard to pick a winning combo". Changes to the Lottery system include more frequent draws with less number picks moving down to 3 selections out of 19 total number instead of 4 selections out of 39.

"The new odds will be around 1 in 969 which is down from 1 in 82,251." The new lottery will debut after the announcement of the results this later this afternoon. Tickets will cost $10 each and the starting jackpot for each drawing will be $15,000. The new drawings will take place every other day instead of every three days.

Lottery Officials are hoping the new format will get more people buying tickets. This is the first in a set of changes being made to the Lottery Commission processes. Other changes will include a new line of instant lottery tickets which will be available in the coming weeks.
