Mall's Citizenship App

Figured I would bring this up here. Mall has applied for citizenship and was the third person who had control of Milograd during the coup. I am unsure if we should approve his app or not.

I would be inclined to deny it on security grounds. I'm fairly sure we can do that.

Speaking on grounds of constitutionality, wouldn't the amendment to Article 1 that you just propose have to take effect before we can (legally) deny his app?

After an IRC discussion with Mall and an amended citizenship app where he states he was not the third person behind Milograd's nation I change my vote to Nay and say we approve his app.

 

If he was the third nation and it is found out he can be charged for fraud for lying on the app.

I remember the Haxstree farce better than most, and the absurdity of it. We all knew he was behind Frak - just as we can safely say that Mall's claim to not be the third person is fatuous - yet we let him in the region anyway and for six months he caused serious harm. His asshattery caused as much damage to the community as Govinda's presence would have, and while Mall is unlikely to do so I'm still reluctant to support his admission.
