Rach approached me about the possibility of formalizing some sort of pact or treaty between Balder, TNP, and us.  We could possibly re-imagine the Triple alliance and create a 4 way pact.

Figured I would start the topic here for some Cabinet discussion. Â And before anyone starts screaming, Rach approached me because Ant wasn't online and Rach and I talk frequently on IRC.

I really don't know much about Balder anymore. They weren't awful in any respect we'd be interested when I was there, at least.

I'd suggest that any move towards a new multi-lateral alliance by us needs to be based on the existing Triple Alliance relationship. It's by far our strongest relationship we have, and focusing on a new relationship ahead of it would be a mistake.

I have seen this type of alliance fail time and time again. I feel we need to pull back the scale and scope of the alliance.
My suggestion is to create a defensive entente between all the regions that promises we will send aid in event of a coup or invasion between all signatories.
If it's simple, it has a chance to succeed.
