13 February, 2013
Downtown South Pacific, Belschaft, has called for a Great Council with the support of the Cabinet of the South Pacific.

The Great Council has historically been used as a method for looking at major reforms to the laws of the region. The last Great Council was held a year ago which led to sweeping reform of the Judicial System and general Charter clean up.

Swiftly after the call for a Great Council discussion began. Topics currently open for discussion are what users want out of the regional forum, how the Government should be structured, and whether or not to continue with an Army.

The Army discussion has been at the forefront of early discussions already. Unibot, leader of the United Defenders League and Citizen of the South Pacific, listed reasons why TSP should move to the Defender side of the Raider/Defender Ideology. His views were met with some opposition by God-Emperor, former Minister of Regional Affairs and current Deputy Minister of Security. God-Emperor has insisted on TSP remaining a neutral force.

Discussions are just beginning but this Great Council is already beginning to take shape and gain steam. Stick with SPINN for exclusive Great Council News Coverage.
