#1
Quote:Ad Spam Policy

Article I: Definitions

Clause A: Ad Spam is hereby defined as a message posted by a region other than The South Pacific intended for the purpose of promoting that region.

Article II: Restrictions on Ad Spam

Clause A: Ad Spam (as defined in Article I, Clause A) is hereby banned from the South Pacific if it violates the provisions herein.

Clause B: The following restrictions will apply to Ad Spam;

Section I: Ad Spam may not exceed four lines in length.

Section II: Ad Spam may not contain excessive formatting in the form of improper Capitalization, Punctuation, Bold, Italics, or Underlining.

Clause C: Recognizing the absurdity of allowing foreign regions to insult natives of the South Pacific any insult by a foreign nation against a nation or group of nations resident within the South Pacific will result in an immediate ban of no more than one year in length. Such a message may come through Ad Spam or other means.

Article III: Enforcement of This Act

Clause A: Except where otherwise outlined in this Act all violations of it's provisions shall result in warnings under the Three Warnings Law.

Clause B: As nations may be banned under this Act and then return under a new identity any ban under this Act shall apply to the Person rather than the nation.

Clause C: Unless challenged before the Minister of Justice the Delegate will have the supreme ability to regulate and enforce this Act except where limited by law.

Clause D: All violating Regional Message Board Posts will be suppressed at the discretion of the Delegate.

Against. Doesn't seem...fun. Yes, yes, a terrible reason to vote against something, but that's tyranny by the masses, isn't it? Err, democracy.

Nay, because I think something is missing in Clause B. We need a restriction on ad-spammers linking to images or anything else that is not their advertised region.
#17
Nay. I feel such blanket restrictions would restrict a lot of creative advertisers along with the lazy copy/paste spammers.I do think we need an Ad Spam Policy, but this is too black & white.
