Whamabama's Involvement in the Sedgistan Coup
#1
I've been told I need to prove my accusation that Whamabama was involved with the Sedgistan coup.

What we know is GreenGremlins was nearly successful in trying to take over The South Pacific during Sedgistan's faux "elections" (free-for-all). Sedge said, in public:

Quote:

What what? If CG had wanted the delegacy, she'd have been endo-swapping, rather than sitting on about 10 endorsements. GreenGremlins was the nation just 2 endorsements off taking the delegacy at the end, and that was the person I was trying to get the delegacy to, as no-one else had managed to get that close.

And,

Quote:

The end being the time leading up to the update where I lost the delegacy. You may not have noticed it, but GreenGremlins was two endorsements behind Southern Bellz when the region updated. She only regained the seat due to endorsements from outsiders, whereas GreenGremlins was endorsed by natives only.

GreenGremlins claimed total ignorance: http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic....8#p5979798

Quote:"I am not sure who Sedge is".

"It was Devonitians, who explained to me, that there was more to this game than answering issues, and voting in the WA".

When Southern Bellz returned to power, four nations were banned: Devonitians, FraternizingWithHumans,Scary Old Dude and, of course, GreenGremlins.

So the question is: Who was GreenGremlins?

Answer: Whamabama.

During 2012's April Fools, Whamabama made a vital error of sending his IPO shares from greengremlins to his main nation.

Note, Whamabama often makes claims which are true or not necessarily false, while avoiding an outright denial of his actions.

<+Wham> I didn't have any knowledge that Sedge was Dev until afterwards just as everyone else (possibly true)

<+Wham> last I checked, I haven't couped a single region (possibly true - since he did not partake in the actual invasion of TEP nor was he successful at taking the delegacy in TSP)

<+Wham> I never helped Sedge coup TSP (probably true since Sedge didn't know GreenGobins was Wham -- he found this out much later.)

<+Wham> Uni, like I said prove it. You can't because you have no clue as to what you speak (not a denial)

<+Wham> Uni you have always made shit up, that's not proof, you are just being you. running your mouth off at what you have no unearlthy idea about. (not a denial)

Overall, Whamabama is very careful to not actually deny being GreenGremlins, or deny his role in attempting to become the delegate of The South Pacific (a plot which failed when Southern Bellz returned to the delegacy).

I don't think it's fair that Whamabama escaped justice like this -- and seemingly claims innocence to casual listeners in #thesouthpacific.

As a wise man, named The Cat-Tribe, once said:

Quote:

Again, in a "fair election" where you (to our knowledge):

-made up arbitrary election rules,
-ejected both "foreign" and "native" nations that endorsed Bellz,
-suppressed every statement of support for Bellz (including by natives),
-ejected natives who did not follow yours rules for elections (which included not endorsing Bellz and endorsing you),
-ejected candidates who did follow your rules for elections but you didn't like for arbitrary reasons,
-specifically invited foreign nations to become Delegate (even implying natives weren't to try),
-used the WFE to criticize not only Bellz, but WA-Commended former TSP Delegate Fudgetopia.

Who knows what else you and your allies did that is not yet public knowledge.

Hiding behind GreenGremlins is a smokescreen.

This hardly seems like a smoking gun. It could just be a coincidence that Whamabama traded shares with this GreenGremlins person. I'm not sure this proves anything beyond a reasonable doubt.

#3
I'm going to be that guy.

Who cares?

And more importantly why do you, the same person who advocates Milograd's return to this forum, care?

No, GreenGremlins shared its shares with Whamabama -- in a long list of Whamabama's puppets, which is what we were all doing to boost our share count.

Milograd was punished and has never (vaguely) denied his actions in The South Pacific. Wham, on the other hand, has gone unpunished and is still floating around telling everyone he's as clean as a whistle.

Unibot, I asked you to bring up a matter of TSP's security (if it was vital) in the Assembly instead of the IRC.

I still cannot ascertain whether or not anyone is guilty based on the information provided and "innocent until proven guilty" still stands.

Mahaj also attempted to become TSP Delegate during the 'election' Sedge held. Do you propose that Mahaj be punished?

I think the evidence is pretty convincing, and the denials just make it damning evidence (why lie?). But I'm not sure what to do with it.

Wham isn't in TSP. We have no diplomatic relations to use as leverage to get his home region to do anything.

I...don't see any smoking gun here, just reasonable doubt. What are you proposing we do anyway? It's not like anyone could be bring charges or anything.

Ok...as I have entered my late twenties (27 in a few months, actually my birth date is *gulp* 9/11) I have been the *youngest* for so long.

But as I'm reading through many of these threads many of you are high school, in college, just graduating college, etc. I think Lady Rebels has some older children so I'm hoping she has some years on me   Big Grin , but can someone make me feel good by saying they're older than me?

I propose doing shit all about it. What I do propose is people stop calling me a "liar" when I call out Whamabama for his constant hypocrisy and worming out of responsibility in #the_south_pacific . That's the only reason why I posted this here -- someone said "show the proof", so I put the proof up.
