Agenda, January - March 2014, Assembly
#1
The Assembly is led by Rebeltopia

All legislation in TSP passes through the Assembly and it is where our democracy can be seen clearly in action.

1. Reform and Enlargement of the CSS

We’d like to bring nominated individuals to the Assembly so that CSS can be extended. A body of 10-15 members has been suggested and is ideal. The Committee for State Security is responsible for ensuring the safety of TSP, particularly in the case of a coup.

2. Citizenship and Voting Registration

The assembly needs to discuss the change in terminology so that all TSPers in residence are citizens automatically and afforded the Bill of Rights. A new term, councilor for example, is proposed to distinguish voting citizens.

3. Reform on the Role of the Chair of the Assembly

The amendment has been drafted and needs to be brought to vote

4. Public and Periodic Cabinet Reports

The CoA and\or their deputies will produce periodic cabinet reports on assembly affairs for a general audience. These will be distributed to the region.

5. Sunshine Law Revisions

The current sunshine laws are somewhat nebulous. I'd like them to be reworked and revised and brought to the Assembly.
