The Empire Comes
#1
All

I hereby announce the rise of The Empire and the cleansing of The East Pacific.

We have freed The East Pacific from her chains of inequity. No more shall that gem of the Seas rot in the isolation which took her before. The East Pacific has been purified; it is now the seat of power for The Empress and the Empire. Under the command of the Empress, the Lady Phedre, our Legions shall stalk victoriously into the NS world and remove the filth that covers it - The Empire shall bring order to all!

As The Empire has purified The East Pacific, so to shall it clean the rest of the Feeder Regions. Your homes, your halls of government, your idols to the false gods of Democracy and Francoism shall be burned. Your ideals, so badly misplaced, shall be made pure.

The Empress Phedre is a forgiving Empress, she understands that you have stood in sin unknowing until this point. Any may come and swear to her banner, she will welcome you. You may sink to your knees and beg the Empress for mercy here: http://z7.invisionfree.com/the_purified_lands/index.php

For those that do not, who foolishly raise arms against our coming Inquisitors, there will be no mercy. Spies and fools who try to steal our region shall be punished. You either join us, or you fall to us. This is the first, last and only free choice you will ever be given.

The Empire Comes.

Hail the Empire and the Empress!

Grand Duke Rahl, High Inquisitor of The Empire.

Interesting.

I've always wondered why self-appointed people and groups think that they have the right to come into a sovereign region and dictate to that region? I'm especially drawn to the statement

Who defines what is pure? Is it a group of individuals, the citizens of the region, the active members, or a cabal?

Take note, my friends, at this introduction here.

Corporations, which should be the carefully restrained creatures of the law and the servants of the people, are fast becoming the people's masters. -- Grover Cleveland

When the laws are used to make the rich richer and the potent more powerful, the humble members of society -- the farmers, mechanics, and laborers -- who have neither the time nor the means of securing like favors to themselves, have a right to complain of the injustice of their government -- Andrew Jackson

As far as I get it, "pure" means in this case "worshipping the person who uses the term". Since I'm primarily worshopping myself, I can safely claim for myself that I am pure :halo:

My Apotheophobia really gets into the way of self-worship. How do you do it, Tsrill?

Every morning, I sacrifice some bread to myself by putting it in the toaster, and some tea leaves by drowning them in boiling water... The chameleons approve :cham:

Greetings, Lord Rahl. I would hope that our fine regions would be able to come together for a friendly dialogue.

Indeed, if you bring peaceful stability and activity to the East Pacific then great but if you wish to threaten the ways and systems of other feeder regions then you will no doubt meet fierce opposition. As a leader you should use words far more wisely than a simple copy and paste when you visit, first impressions are everything.
