The following amendment to Article 1 of the Charter of The Coalition of The South Pacific, having been duly debated and having received sponsorship from at least two people, is now brought to vote.

In accordance with Article 3, Section 1.10, the voting period for this amendment will be five days. It will start at 8:30am EDT on October 14th, 2013 and end at 8:30am EDT on October 19th, 2013.

Article 3, Section 1.5 stipulates that amendments must receive 75% of votes in favor in order to pass. Citizens may vote Aye or Nay. While abstentions may be expressed, they are not considered votes, and as such do not affect the threshold required under Article 3, Section 1.5.

Amendment to Article 1 of The Charter of The Coalition of The South Pacific
The Assembly of the South Pacific, having discussed and debated the process through which citizenship of the Coalition of The South Pacific is granted and removed, believing that the process should be expedited to ensure that citizenship is always well-organized and up-to-date, hereby adopts the following amendment to Article 1 of The Charter of The Coalition of The South Pacific.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"Article 1: Citizenship and Regulations of Citizenship
- All nations resident in the region The South Pacific may apply for Citizenship in the Coalition.
- Citizens are guaranteed the rights defined in Article 2 of this Charter.
- All Citizens, in order to ensure to all the rights and benefits resulting from such, shall fulfill in good faith the obligations assumed by them in accordance with the present charter and Code of Laws.
- All nations wishing to obtain Citizenship must accept and abide by the terms and provisions of the Charter, declare their current nation residing in The South Pacific, current nation which holds membership in the World Assembly and all current regions and organizations in which the applicant is involved in.
- Forum Administration is responsible for the admission of citizens and for the removal of citizens whose nation ceases to exist or is no longer residing within the Coalition or have not logged into the South Pacific forums for a period exceeding 30 days."
