Statement Regarding The South Pacific
Regarding the present situation in The South Pacific, The Pacific would like to express our belief that interference by us in favour of either the Coalition of The South Pacific or the Milograd-controlled Delegacy is not in the best interests of The South Pacific. We express our support for the residents to decide for themselves which system of governance is the appropriate one for them, and do not believe it appropriate to lend our weight to one side or another as The South Pacific resolves this internal conflict.
This conflict has found its way to our shores, regardless. A nation claiming to represent the Coalition government was spotted in The Pacific earlier today, asking our WAs to abandon our Delegate and depart for The South Pacific to oppose Milograd. This stunt is unacceptable. Even if The Pacific felt obligated or justified in deploying in support of one side or the other, we must always look to our own shores to protect our citizens, and ensure that this conflict does not spread. It is hoped that the Coalition government will investigate this serious issue, though it has thus far assured the Senate of The Pacific that no nation was ordered to take such action.
We are hopeful for a speedy and swift resolution to the situation in The South Pacific.
Signed,
Krulltopia, Leader of The Pacific
