Post Osiris Treaty Repeal Discussion
#26
I am disquieted to read that the government of Osiris has been branded "illegitimate", when it compromises of all together the same people who worked to liberate The South Pacific from the Socialist Rule of Milograd.

From my experience as a diplomat, I can tell you immediately that the wording of Article 2, section 1, will be remembered by others in the future. The wording of that choice would only be used by me to permanently burn bridges. The choice of wording will bite The South Pacific in its round protruding arse in the future if it requires help from other regions - I look forward to hearing who The South Pacific declares to be the "legitimate" government of Osiris. Will there be a statement of support for this nameless individual/organisation?

It's not often I find myself disquieting with South Pacifican politics, and prefer keeping my head down normally... but whilst I agree that a repeal of the treaty would be a good idea while Osiris reorganises, the choice of wording is not something I agree with. It has the diplomatic tact of a blunt axe, with as much grace as a mad axeman would.
